HISTORY

Accommodation in Amboseli – The lodge is a place of magic and was soul inspired by a dream and created with passion for nature, wildlife and conservation at heart. A small family establishment with a vision to demonstrate excellence for a unique ultimate African journey.

Our Vision is to offer superior, consistent and interactive services of the highest quality in bush hospitality that combines comfort with remoteness and solitude and authenticity. We take great pride in delivering the highest quality accommodation in Amboseli  to our guests, and aim to ensure that utmost care and attention will be given to every guest. We will strive to create a relationship that earns us a lifelong friend(s) & friendships.

Our Mission revolves around a “Triple C” concept including Conservation, Community involvement and Competitive returns. Efforts will be made to enhance awareness of the infinite wildlife and wilderness of the Maasai land at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Although the greater Amboseli area is endowed with significant natural resources and invaluable tourist attractions, the region is yet to benefit from these enormous resources. Instead, the region’s wildlife populations and indigenous forests are under constant threat from poaching through snaring and harvesting of trees for charcoal. We expect to contribute in the reversal of this trend by optimizing returns from tourism resources back into conservation and sustainability of the eco-system of the park.

Our lodge in Amboseli is committed to responsible tourism. We aim to conduct our business in a manner that benefits the environment, the people working at the camp and the neighboring community.

The lodge will also be committed to minimize its impact on the fragile environment and use the latest green technologies. The energy source will be mainly through use of solar panels that will provide all power requirements for the lodge including, hot water for the showers.

A key objective is to enhance ecological and environmental conservation by planting indigenous trees for the restoration of natural wild areas within the eco-system of Amboseli National Park.

The founders wish to leave the environment a better place on earth by preserving all human, animal and flora & fauna life in the area through its operations.

OUR TEAM

The friendly, warm and receptive team at the lodge is native from the area. Their local experience, guidance and support is paramount to the success of a guest visit to the lodge. From the chefs, guides, drivers to the service team members the aim is to ensure cohesive effort in looking after all the guests needs, including but not limited to providing the best accommodation in Amboseli.

“Visitors will be welcomed as guests and waved off as friends”

SUPPORTING CONSERVANCY

We are attributing to conservation efforts through partnerships with the Big Life Foundation whereby we collaborate daily with the Big Life game scouts in their patrol efforts to mitigate illegal poaching and hunting nuances.

Our own efforts entail preservation of the environment without interfering with the natural habitat and providing fresh borehole water to the wildlife especially during the dry season. Among the few unfenced lodges in Amboseli we ensure animal corridors are maintained for wildlife to wander freely around the lodge.

GREENING THE ENVIRONMENT

We contribute to tree regeneration through locally designed seed-balls of the African Acacia trees that are indigenous to the mountain terrain. The seed-balls are tossed into the environment by our esteemed guests during their guided bush walks. The seedballs are expected to germinate during the rainy season
